THE DEPTH THIS BOOK HAD OMG… I could spend hours going back through annotating and underlining scenes that I loved and want to take a deeper look at。 Adam， Gansey， and Ronan especially’s character growth in this book was done so well。 And kavinsky as a character and how he affected the other raven boy’s own personal growth and stories was so interesting and noteworthy。 Such a good sequel！！！

favorite book in the raven cycle， love adam with the entirety of my heart so this book was honestly heartbreaking because he struggled so fucking much。 still my favorite book in the series mainly because it focuses on my two favorite characters， ronan and adam。 must read！！！！！！！

nothing。 But it was Adam Parrish's nothing。"why？？？？ did that almost make me cry？ Idk i think it was just that he'd been going through so much deep pain and exhaustion， i was just so relieved for him when a single thing happened that made him happy， even for just a moment。 i feel for his character so much; his longing， his desperation， loneliness， and helplessness。 POOR BABY HE’S SO TORTURED。 I’m excited for his future with this magician thing， and his connection to the ley line， i hope it can bring him some peace and help him come to his senses a bit。 （hide spoiler）]i’m so enchanted by the brotherhood between the raven boys。 i love how we got to see the relationship between Gansey and Ronan more closely， how deep their connection goes。（view spoiler）[“When Ronan thought of Gansey， he thought of moving into Monmouth Manufacturing， of nights spent in compassionable insomnia， of a summer searching for a king， of Gansey asking the Gray Man for his life。 Brothers。" and god， Adam and Gansey’s issues are painful to read， but damn are they entertaining。 I was absolutely glued to those pages。 THE GRAY MAN:The way this character grew on me was SO UNEXPECTED and so well done。 Brava， Maggie Stiefvater。 Brava。 His romance with Maura and little details like his fondness for The Kinks， and his turn around， just slowly made me fall in love with his character and fully had me rooting for him by the end of the book。 Maggie slowly reveals to you that someone who at first seems so ruthless and emotionless， is actually deeply lonely， and longs for a home， and an identity。 I love it。 >。< I have to say his confrontation with his brother was a bit anticlimactic though。 So much buildup and then Bang， Bang， problem solved。 I want to know a little more background on them， and why Dean was so intimidated by him when he was able to take him out so easily。KAVINSKY:As a person… he sucks I guess， but I can’t say I didn’t grow an odd fondness for him？ Because I did。 Similar to the Gray Man， you find out just how lonely he is。 How much he’s suffering。 I think death was the best direction for his character to go in。 I really did enjoy his interactions with Ronan though， despite how intense they were。 Their mutual attraction was also very compelling and is such an asset to understanding Kavinsky and his motivations。BLUE AND NOAH SCENE:This made me emotional。 It was so so sweet， NOAH is so so sweet。 It was a heartwarming friendship moment， turned into a heartBREAKING moment for Blue。 I just feel so bad for her。 Anyway I LOVED this scene。 Absolutely perfect。 BLUE AND GANSEY:They… are like crack to me。 I WANT AS MUCH AS I CAN GET， EVERY LITTLE BIT HAS ME ECSTATIC AND LONGING FOR MORE。 When I tell you I fully did not breathe that entire car scene， i am NOT exaggerating。 “Her heart didn’t beat。 She didn’t blink。”“Oh， help， she thought。 Help， help， help。”OH BLUE， THAT’S EXACTLY HOW I FELT。😩🥵😭BLUE AND ADAM:Ultimately， Gansey and Blue are endgame， and they always were。 I knew that and I wanted that。 But i really did like Blue and Adam while they lasted。 In the first book I really felt their connection， and obviously it frayed to a breaking point in this one。 I wonder where they could’ve gone if the sacrifice had not happened， and Adam was more sound of mind。 I think it would’ve been as Blue herself said， that it could’ve worked， but it never would’ve been as electric as her and Gansey。 I hope they can stay/become closer friends though。 BLUE AND HER MOM:The dynamic between these two really resonate with me， as someone who is particularly close to my mother and family。 Maura is such a good mother and I love how Blue appreciates her extra after thinking about Adam growing up without someone like that。“ How terrible it would be， Blue thought， her mind on Adam， to not have a mother who loved you？" :（（（RONAN AND HIS FAMILY AND GREYWAREN STUFF AND AHH:Everytime a Ronan chapter came up I’d go into it slightly begrudgingly， always hungry for Blue and Gansey crack lol。 But a few sentences in I’d always be captured and swept away into the creativity and richness of this narrative。 I fell in love with Matthew of course， he’s so sweet。 And I was awed by how emotionally affected I was by Ronan’s grief and memories of his father， as well as how fascinating all the dream stuff was。 The fact that Ronan’s father truly just dreamt up everything he wanted， even a WIFE？？？？ That plot twist was so freaking wild， and it also says so much about Ronan’s father， what type of person he is。 Maggie's focus on him in this book has really made him grow on me as a character。 I know and appreciate so much more about him now。 He's the best。🥺 （hide spoiler）]OVERALL PRAISE BC UGHH I LOVE: These characters are all SO rich and complex， and I am so incredibly compelled by all of their unique stories。 MY REVIEWS ARENT USUALLY LIKE THIs GUYS I USUALLY JUST WRITE A FEW PARAGRAPHS ABOUT HOW MY GENERAL EXPERIENCE was reADING， that fact that I typed this whole thing up really shows how impressed and fascinated I am with this series。 There’s just so many layers！！ I could talk about it for hours。 The premise and it’s execution is unlike anything I’ve ever read before， and I truly think this series is one of a kind。 If you’re interested in what I think of the rest of the books， I’ll be posting updates as I read and more reviews！ Definitely a new I don't really know what to say about The Dream Thieves。。。I'm disappointed but also not surprised that I didn't enjoy it。 The pacing was so slow， the first 2 thirds of the book focused on Ronan and his ability to dream things into reality。 It sounded like an interesting concept but I just found it so boring。 I liked getting to know more about Ronan but the story doesn't carry on from The Raven Boys or move forward enough for me。 I'm all for character development but not so much that the original I don't really know what to say about The Dream Thieves。。。I'm disappointed but also not surprised that I didn't enjoy it。 The pacing was so slow， the first 2 thirds of the book focused on Ronan and his ability to dream things into reality。 It sounded like an interesting concept but I just found it so boring。 I liked getting to know more about Ronan but the story doesn't carry on from The Raven Boys or move forward enough for me。 I'm all for character development but not so much that the original plot is forgotten about until the last 100 pages and then quickly picked back up to move the book along for the sequel。 Blue was barely in the book， the whole 'kiss your true love and he dies' from book one still hasn't happened。 I love Noah but he was basically non-existent too apart from that scene with Blue which was kinda gross。 And Adam。。。he was so annoying。 The Grey Man was such an odd addition and didn't seem to add much to the story， having him with Maura was also the strangest pairing。 I get that Maura is a psychic but bloody hell。。。surely if a man comes to your house and says he's a hitman， you'd have a strong aversion to him being around your teen daughter？ I liked the characters in the first book and the potential was definitely there but The Dream Thieves just didn't follow through for me。 So many people love The Raven Cycle and I really wanted to but I don't think I'll be continuing it， not straight away anyway。 。。。more

2。675/5Tenía unas expectativas medias a la hora de leer este libro。 Por una parte， todo booktube no dejaba de hablar bien de estos libros y de lo adorables que son por el grupo de amigos que en ellos se nos presenta， pero por otro lado， el primer libro me dejó frío。 Decidí darle una segunda oportunidad al libro para ver si esto iba a mejor o no， cual fue mi sorpresa al descubrir que este libro， si bien era unas 80 páginas más gordo que el anterior， estaba lleno de hojas y hojas que， para mí， no 2。675/5Tenía unas expectativas medias a la hora de leer este libro。 Por una parte， todo booktube no dejaba de hablar bien de estos libros y de lo adorables que son por el grupo de amigos que en ellos se nos presenta， pero por otro lado， el primer libro me dejó frío。 Decidí darle una segunda oportunidad al libro para ver si esto iba a mejor o no， cual fue mi sorpresa al descubrir que este libro， si bien era unas 80 páginas más gordo que el anterior， estaba lleno de hojas y hojas que， para mí， no servían de mucho。Sí， los personajes son entrañables， si bien alguno de ellos no lo es tanto en este tomo de la saga， pero eso no quita que la trama principal （que es una buena trama en realidad） se quede completamente estancada por momentos。 Definitivamente es un libro que se centra en desarrollar la historia de los personajes， pero considero que se ha llevado al extremo。 Capítulos y capítulos de relleno donde no se avanza nada en la búsqueda de Glendower， no existe nueva información al respecto y se ahonda más bien poco， al menos en mi opinión， en la novedad que se plantea en este libro: la capacidad de Ronan para traer objetos de los sueños a la realidad。Los personajes no pueden salvar a un libro， y este es el claro ejemplo de unos personajes bellísimos que se encuentran en un libro que no les está a la altura， y me da mucha pena porque tenía grandes esperanzas en la saga y en Maggie Stiefvater。 Leí hace mucho tiempo su saga de temblor y me gustó mucho， pensé que con esta me enamoraría de la misma forma， pero desgraciadamente， no ha sido así。 Creo que ni siquiera me merece la pena descubrir cómo termina esta historia en los futuros libros si para ello tengo que pasar por montones de hojas de relleno， así que de esta forma concluye mi aventura con la saga de The Raven Boys， fue un placer。 。。。more
